Prerequisite courses

Basic (pre-licensure) BS in Nursing, 85-86 major credits within a 120 credit degree. To begin the NSG sequence students must complete the prerequisite courses (BIO 201, BIO 202, BIO 208, CHM 103 or physics with lab, PSY 101, PSY 202/208, SCI 120 Nutrition), hold a nursing major GPA of 3.000 or higher in prerequisite and support coursework, and have 60 or more credits; nursing sequence starts in fall or spring. Current Sage students declaring nursing need the same 3.000 nursing GPA; C+ minimum in all NSG courses. A 16 month ABSN also exists for second degree students. Freshman admission requirements and NCLEX rates not stated in the catalog entry (sage.edu main site is behind Cloudflare).
